A woman married and had 13 children. Her husband died. She married again and had 7 more children. Again, her husband died. But, she remarried and this time had 5 more children. Alas, she finally died. Standing before her coffin, the preacher prayed for her.

He thanked The Lord for this very loving woman and said, “Lord, they are finally together.” One mourner leaned over and quietly asked her friend, “Do you think he means her first, second or third husband?”

The friend replied, “I think he means her legs.”

OMFG!! Its like i m blogging almost daily now! Hmmm… So many things to say lor.. So many things happened lately wor.. Dunno where to begin actually…

For a start, I quitted many bad habits, I gave too much… I used to judge people while I’m in no position to do so. I’ve changed so much the past 2 months, my real friends know that… and I thank everyone of them so much!

I found out that I don’t know what kind of people are real “friends”. I’m stupid. I needed a slap to realize that I count many of people I “know” friends.

I have misjudged people who are my real friends now, I didn’t even give a chance before, I wasn’t given a chance, I do not deserve any of what is happening.

Seeing your friends split, your friends act up on you, worse… they lie when they don’t even need to! I’m not claiming that I’m an angel and that I do not lie, I’m not a hypocrite. Everyone lies… and that is true. But If you respect your friends, you don’t lie. Right?

On the other hand, not working today so have to go out and enjoy myself.. Been cooped in the office oso sian la.. The usual stuffs at work, backstabbing, trying to be No.1, trying to compete, pretenders, and lots more lah…

“Some people are dead to me”… They are still alive, not in my book.

Based on being experienced in failure, I came with a conclusion that there are many parts of life and emotion that are part of the human condition, which can turn love into something very harmful.

Love makes you put another person’s welfare above your own. It is a motivator. A powerful one that can make you neglect yourself without ever realizing it.

It’s easy to think of examples where loving the wrong person can hurt you. If you love someone who is abusive you can be hurt physically. If you love someone who cheats on you it can hurt you emotionally. If you love someone who uses others you can be hurt financially. If you love someone with poor morals it can cause spiritual damage or weaken your morals.

I think I fall in the category of poor morals. I’ve been in love with people I can’t love.

Many people who tried online dating were exposed to the fact that the person they knew online is not the same person they met in real life.

I think online hook-ups/relationships are no different than any other kind, dating a person you met online is just like dating a person from work. It is not any different, all relationships involve some sort of risk.

I’ve had online relationships, some failed and some didn’t, however that doesn’t mean Internet dating doesn’t work, what worries me is the anonymity which allows you to create any personality you want to be, some make it totally unlike themselves in real life and they could fool everybody if they want to.

It is all happening just because the Internet is the latest and most convenient tool of communication. People sometimes (example: my mum, mothers in general) think it’s a joke to find potential partners on the Internet.

Yet there are many married couples who have met their love through it (my friends did…)

I guess arranged marriages do not work well anymore? I do not believe in them… Arranged marriages suck! if you don’t know your partner how can you just get married to him/her!

Damn! its scary!!

For years I have wondered what the point is of having “Road Rage”.  People yell, scream, shout obscenities, get themselves all in a complete tizz over driving on a common road with others.  Does the yelling, increased blood pressure, or bad feelings actually change the situation in any way?  Or by doing that, aren’t you simply harming yourself?

I do understand why people become aggravated with drivers who are inconsiderate.  We have all encountered the Mr. and Mrs. goondo type drivers that are a hazard to themselves and every other driver on the road.  But is their intention to upset you?  Are they making mistakes whilst driving, or are they doing it to endanger those around them?  If you think about it, most people don’t actually try to be terrible drivers.  They don’t go out of their way to be dangerous.  People more likely lose their concentration on the road for one reason or the other, and become sloppy.

Let me ask you, if someone accidentally stepped in front of you, or bumped into you while walking, would you then scream and yell at them?  The answer is probably no.  Even if they knocked you down.  Then why on earth would it be necessary in a car?  The intention is the same.  A simple mistake.  Yet our reaction to it is completely different.

I myself get aggravated with those people who in parking lots do not look where they are going.  They feel that because they are pedestrians, they own the road and that drivers should know where they are.  Even when they don’t stick to the sidewalks, crosswalks, or my favorite is when they walk right behind your car when you are backing up.  Worst offenders of this are usually parents with children in tow.  I want to just slap them!  What are they thinking?  Does the safety of either themselves or their children not count to them or what? 

Don’t you just love it when you are trying to make a lane change, you signal to make the maneuver and the person behind you speeds up so that you can’t complete your action?  Why do they feel the need to do this I wonder?  Will it get them to their destination any quicker by not letting you by?  Why suddenly does manners and courtesy go out the window when behind the wheel of a car.

Normal, nice everyday people LOSE THEIR MINDS when they get behind the wheel of a car.

Another beauty is those people who just refuse to park.  They will drive around and around instead of simply parking in a parking lot.  They somehow feel that they will get the perfect spot if they drive around enough times.  Usually by the time they do end up parking, you are miles away from your destination and totally aggravated.   I ask you, are those few dollars really worth that?

How about those people who don’t bother to park, and simply abandon their cars.  You know the people I am talking about who park over several parking spaces, never straight, and at a completely wrong angle so that everyone else in the entire parkinglot is thrown off.  They don’t even try to be even with the curb, nor do they care if the front or back end is sticking out in the street.  It after all is other people’s responsibility to anticipate people like this and avoid hitting them right?

And why oh why oh why do they not insist that people take “refresher” classes on road safety and behind the wheel as a matter of keeping your license in tact?  People who have had 50 years of driving experience doesn’t mean that they are in fact safe and sane drivers at all.  I believe that there should be some type of examination done more than once in your lifetime.  And not just to the elderly and the sick. 

There is a difference between being an acquaintance and being a friend.

First, an acquaintance is someone whose name you know, who you see every
now and then, who you probably have something in common with and who you feel comfortable around.

It’s a person that you can invite to your home and share things with.  But they are people who you wouldn’t share your life with, whose actions sometimes you don’t understand because you don’t know enough about them..

On the other hand, a friend is someone you love. Not that you are “in love” with them, but you care about them and you think about them when they are not there.  The people you are reminded of when you see something they might like, and you know this because you know them so well.

They are the people you feel safe around because you know they care about you. They call just to see how you are doing, because a friend doesn’t need an excuse.  They tell you the truth, the first time, and you do the same. You know that  if you have a problem, they are there to listen.

They are the people who won’t laugh at you or hurt you, and if they do hurt you they try hard to make it up to you. Your life is not the same without them.

These are your friends. How many do you have?

Having a bad day at work today.

Lazy to write the full story. But to summerise:-
1) If the usual practice is A, don’t bother asking why not do B UNLESS your B has advantage over A. But your B clearly has no advantage. So why bother looking at whether B can be use or not. And nobody tried B before and nobody knows if your B works or not. A has been tried and tested many times and is 100% confirm working. So why should I waste my time to test B when it has totally no value add?

Maybe because B is your idea and your ego refuse to admit that it is a useless idea.

Whitney Houston: When she was in her prime, not one of the other ladies (even though they are all good artists) could even imagine outsinging her! I mean it seem like the sound just rolled out of her mouth without even tryin.  **** now some people cant’ even hold a tune.. in live concert. Haiz… Now, she lost her voice to drugs..

Mariah Carey: Mariah Carey is probably the most impressive, but I could do without the over emoting on every note, and 7 octaves aren’t all that useful if all you’re going to do is make a sound like a dog whistle at the end of the chorus. Some people even said that she is trying to show off her high pitching voice! ROFL! But she is the most prettiest among these four and her new album i.e E=MC2 just blew me away! The secret connotation behind those terminology was : Emancipation of Mimi to the second power? Hmmm.. can any MIMI fans englighten me pls?

Celine Dion: Don’t You agree Celine Dion, Is such a talented singer? She has such an inspirational voice. I personally don’t think britney is a true singer, Singers like celine, show what music is about. Celine has one of the most amazing voices I’ve ever heard. She can hold a note like forever! She’s soooo good! alas, most singer nowadays can only hold a tune but cant really sing…

Madonna: Madonna does not have a strong voice at all, what she has is the use of a good studio and access to some good songs. How pathetic can that be?

But if you only could choose one of these, Who would you consider as BEST SINGER???
